Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy is dependent on item purchased. 

Original Paintings

 

 

Paintings are one-of-a-kind and are sold on an as-is basis. Our refund and return policy is very strict for this reason. Here are some rules we have regarding the sale of original paintings. 

Refunds, repairs, or partial refunds may be applicable if the painting is damaged in shipping:

  • If the original painting is lost or significantly damaged beyond repair in shipping, the cost of the painting and shipping will be refunded upon receipt of images of damage. 
  • If the original painting is damaged in shipping but repairable, Jennifer Heron Art will pay for shipping to return here for repairs and will then ship the piece back out. To determine if the damage is indeed damage that occurred during shipping and are repairable, client will need to send images of damaged piece.
  • If the original painting is damaged in shipping, and the damages are minor but not repairable, Jennifer Heron will issue a partial refund commensurate with the amount of damage done to the discretion of Jennifer Heron Art.
 

Sometimes paintings may incur damages that are not due to shipping. Please contact us and we will see how we can help. 

  • If damage done to an original painting is caused by client, improper handling, or typical wear and tear, Jennifer Heron Art will not issue any refunds or returns. We may be able to help repair damages for a fee upon inquiry. 
  • If damage done to an original painting is due to faulty construction of painting, we may offer refunds or repairs on a case-by-case basis under our discretion. 

 

We can not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges on original paintings other than the aforementioned reasons for certain damages. For clarity:

  • We do not offer gift returns on original paintings
  • We do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges for changed mind or lost interest on original paintings
  • Paintings are sold on an as-is basis. We do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges for discovery of details that was not noticed upon purchase.

Prints and other Merchandise

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

While we hope to offer free shipping on returns in the future, as a small business we can’t quite yet. Your return will include the original cost of shipping, but you must purchase shipping for returning the item to Jennifer Heron Studio.

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
